The childhood we remember was shaped by our ability to explore, dream and discover. But today's child has limited opportunities to experiment and play. Time moves quickly and much of our children's time is spent in organized, structured environments that allow little time for individual creativity and the discovery of new interests. This lack of opportunity can limit a child's potential.
Sky After School is a program designed to maximize a child's time by providing an environment rich in opportunities for discovery, creativity, academic achievement and good, old-fashioned play. Every day your child will be exposed to a variety of purposeful activity choices in a fun environment designed to encourage freedom of movement and exploration. The choices are endless!
Our facility includes an indoor gym stocked with games, Legos, building blocks, home living items, books and art supplies. Children can choose to read, "play house"or pretend to build a skyscraper.
They can choose to participate in a game of half-court basketball or dodge ball. They can go outside and climb on the recreational equipment or join a game of flag football.
- Music Studio: Sky has partnered with MusicMakers of the Midlands to provide music lessons in Sky's music room. Maximize your child's after school hours by signing them up to take lessons on the guitar, piano or drums while they are here at Sky.
- Academic Studio: Academic achievement is also a priority at Sky After School. In addition to the opportunity to complete homework in the study room, Sky also offers individual or small group tutoring sessions in reading or mathematics. Increase subject mastery and confidence by signing up for these focus sessions.
